Arbor Restaurant – Experienced waiting staff required

Due to the ongoing success of Arbor Restaurant at The Green House, we have positions available for Full Time Experienced Waiting Staff.
Arbor Restaurant holds 2 AA Rosettes and the Gold award for Dorset Tourism Best Restaurant. We offer well cooked, honest, uncomplicated but imaginative food. We are passionate about sourcing both classic and new ingredients, to create inspired seasonal menus. Arbor has a modern, informal atmosphere with seating for 40 covers. Our friendly and knowledgeable staff deliver unfussy service to accommodate simple dinners to weddings and private events. Arbor currently holds the highest rating from the Sustainable Restaurant Association, whilst the hotel is proud to be awarded the Dorset Tourism Gold award for boutique hotel 2019 / 2020 and BH Stars Investing in People Gold 2019 / 2020.
Successful candidates will need to:
- Ensure guests receive a warm and personalised welcome
- Enhance guest satisfaction
- Handle guest comments and complaints, ensuring follow-up
- Develop close relationships with guests to encourage loyalty
- Be passionate about food and anticipate customer needs
- Be excited to work with fresh and local produce
- Work closely with the team to ensure cost and payroll targets are achieved
- Have excellent communication skills to include all departments
- Be enthusiastic, passionate with a positive attitude
- Have proven track record in reputable restaurants

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 25 - 40 per week
Salary: £8.00-£11.00 per hour
